Corey Hooper's Family

Hello All,
We are glad to have just moved back to Utah. We have been in Pennsylvania for the last five years. It was an adventure to say the least. We are currently living in the Lehi area and love it. We are a big family with having 5 children ranging from the ages of 2 up to 16 years.
While in Pennsylvania I worked with Heating and Air Conditioning and then tried a hand at Lightning Protection. I didn't even know there was such a job. I was lucky enough to do some traveling with the Lightning Protection Company. I was able to visit Hawaii again and also travel down to Washington DC for it too. I enjoyed the company and wish that they would consider doing Lighting Protection in Utah.
It was fun while there and we were able to get to know Shereen's (Shaye) side of the family. There were many to get to know too. She has many, many relatives. Her grandfather is one of ten and her father is one of ten. That makes for big family reunions.
The above pictures shows all of our children. The oldest two are on the left. That is Aisha, 16, Austin, 14. The picture on the right is from our younger three children from Easter. They are McKae, 10, Tegan (left) 6, and last but not least Riley (right) 2. They are all very special to have in our family and they have done great with moving to Utah after being in Pennsylvania for so long. We have had alot of "fun" having teenagers in our home. It's been a learning curve constantly. Ha Ha! They all do keep us on our toes and we tend to get alot of laughs especially with the younger ones trying to mimic their older siblings
Shaye and I have been married now for 7 years and we are still finding out things we don't know about each other. I guess they really do say that you learn as you go. We have had a lot of things happen over our 7 years of marriage and have learned to roll with the good and bad times. It's been fun to become a dad and they definitely keep you on the run. Especially the little ones when I get home from work. They already have a list of things for dad to do with them. I love having all the kids around though, they tend to keep me feeling young at some times. It's fun watching them grow up and reach each new milestone in their life. I do have to admit that it reminds me of my milestones and what I was doing at their age. Hopefully they won't find out about the dragstip incident.
Shaye and I have had many things that we have done over the last 7 years. We added two more children to the family, moved to Pennsylvania, weathered passing of three grandparents, started new jobs, watched our oldest enter high school, done some traveling and started a business that Shaye mostly takes care of currently. We love being back in Utah and enjoying the winter weather. That is Shaye's favorite time of the year. I love the winter only if I can snowmobile or snowboarding. The snowboarding though I really have to improve and work on.
The above picture of us is the only one we could find currently. Of course like all parents their pictures are the last to be updated. We have to admit that although we like it for how good we look that was prior to the last addition to the family and we both added a few pounds from that pregnancy. Hee hee. Shaye is working hard at taking care of herself with running in the mornings. She loves to be able to do that out here. I on the other hand don't like to run so I say that I exercise enough in my job.
Well, enough about us. We look forward to getting to see you guys and hear from you again.

Ok Corey, I gotta know what the dragstrip incident was! Do tell...

Your family is adorable and you sound so happy. Are you sure you like all of this winter weather? I am ready for the snow to melt.

Good to hear about you. I can't think of you without remembering that my brother, Travis, "will"-ed me to you in his Sr. Will. He knew that I coudn't go wrong with a good guy like you. You have always been a good person.
