I hope everyone reading this is doing awesome--it was good to see you all and if anybody wonders how the 100 mile race went: I survived! There were rough conditions and only 185 out of 450 people finished. It took me 27 1/2 hours and I was the 5th place woman!

Friday Night Reunion Dinner - Hollow Moon Cafe

Our class reunion kicked off on Friday night at the Hollow Moon Cafe. We had 18 class members show up. We had a great time catching up with each other and talking about old times. The company was fabulous and the food was awesome, too. Thanks Todd and Camille!!!

I never believed I'd end up in Duchesne

Hello class of 88! I'ts a good thing I live in Duchesne or I would never be able to fit the reunion in. As it is, I will be showing up to both activities in between running my family around and helping my husband with the triathelon going on Saturday morning.

I have lived in Duchesne for the last 12 years. My husband moved me here to be close to the mountains, lake and family. He is from Idaho and hunts a lot (mostly bear and mt. lion). We like to go out on the lake as much as weather allows.

I work as an RN in ER in Roosevelt. I try really hard to be part time but with the nursing shortage in the Basin, I end up working full time hours almost every week. I love the ER. I work nights and sometimes sleep a little in the days. It is getting easier as the kids are getting older. When school starts again, I will just have a 4 year old at home. I will have 2 in elementary, 1 in Jr. High and one High schooler (eeek!).

My husband works for Moon Lake Electric as a lineman. We are both very involved in the church. I am the Primary President, going on three years now. So I have a lot more children than just my five. We are both involved in the Community. I am in the Duchesne Mothers Cub and Chad is the President of the secondary water. If the power goes out, a water break or an emergency call, one of us usually has to go.

I have plenty of room if anyone would like to stay at our house. I have 2 babysitters if anyone would like some help or just somewhere for your kids to hang out. I am so excited to see you all. It has been fun watching the blog. Thank you, Travis and Missy. Home 435-738-2106 or Cell 435-733-0098.

DATES : AUGUST 8TH and 9TH, 2008
PLACE: DUCHESNE HIGH SCHOOL COMMONS AREA

WE ARE STARTING THE WEEKEND OUT ON FRIDAY, AUG 8TH AT THE HOLLOW MOON CAFÉ IN PLEASANT VALLEY, UTAH (OWNED BY NONE OTHER THAN TODD AND CAMILE MOON). THIS IS A DINNER FOR YOU AND YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER, OR JUST YOURSELF. WE JUST WANT EVERYONE TO COME! WE WILL MEET THERE AT 7:00 pm.

CAMILE WILL BE PUTTING TOGETHER A SPECIAL MENU DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WE PLAN TO HAVE.

From Duchesne, go East on Main Street (Highway 40) for 17 Miles (not quite to Myton)

Turn RIGHT at 5550 West Nine Mile Road (to Pleasant View)

You go not quite half a mile, and you will see the restaurant.

Memory Book

Hi guys! I am writing to let you know about a scrapbook I can do for our class reunion. I wanted to put a book together for myself, so I thought that I would offer it to anyone who would like to purchase one also. I can order different sizes at different costs. You can pick whatever size you would like but please know that the content might vary from size to size depending on the number of pictures that I can put on each page. The prices are noted below:

7x5 is $17.95 plus shipping

8x8 is $44.95 plus shipping

11x8.5 is $39.95 plus shipping


These are bound together with a soft linen cover. The price for each book includes 10 pages printed front and back. Additional pages are priced at $2.50 a sheet printed front and back. I am checking on a discounted price for the additional pages, so this might change. I can order these at any time after I format the book, so if you are not sure you want one, or if you would like to see one first before purchasing, I will always have it on my computer ready to order. So please don't feel pressured to buy one. Like I said, I wanted to do this for me, but thought that I would offer it to any who would like one.
