Cindy Duncan

After graduation I married Daryl a week later and moved to Salt Lake. We lived there for 7 years and during that time we had two boys.....Tyson and Scott. We then decided to venture north and made our home in Layton. While living in Layton we had two more children, Mikael and Alicia. Daryl worked for a Contrustion Testing company, and I worked from Walmart and Coldwell Banker. After 18 years of the busy life of the city, Daryl convinced me to move back to Duchesne. We have been here since June 2006. It is a different life to come back to but it is a slower pace.

Tyson is now 18, he graduated from Duchesne High School last year. He is leaving for CEU in a week. Scott is 16, and is currently a sophmore at Duchesne High School. I do not remember being this big of a trouble maker....but he is loving it here. Mikael is 11, and is in the 6th grade. He loves the country life and the ability to go anywhere on a bike. Alicia is 10, and in the 4th grade. She is a huge social bug (not sure where she got that from).

We have one more move and hopefully be able to plant our roots and stay there longer than a few years.

I am excited to see everyone. It has been along time.

Bonnie - update

After high school I moved to South Carolina for two years, wow what an experience! In 1990 I moved to Phoenix Arizona and have been here since. I married twice and am currently divorced as marriage doesn't seem to be for me. I've never had children but enjoy spending any time I can with my 20 nieces and nephews. Nice thing is when you can't take it anymore you hand them over to thier parents : o Otherwise my chihuahua Bonita and love bird Pedro keep me busy.

I have worked the last 15 years in Scottsdale and when I'm not working you'll find me at the lake fishing, up north camping, climbing Camelback or Squaw Peak mountains and spending time at the pool. I love to have fun doing all of my favorite things especially outdoors.

Here is a picture of me flying a Falcon 2000, one of the most amazing experiences of my life. You get a whole new view of the world from the right seat!

San Francisco (gotta love pier 39), Idaho (white water rafting), Vegas (never leave your room sober), Mexico (let loose) and back to good old Utah are some of my favorite vacation spots but have made Arizona my home and can't think of a better place to live.

From time to time I make it back to Duchesne for a visit. I'm sure as all of you have said one time or another "I can't believe I grew up here" or "I can't believe he/she still lives here". Not to say that's a bad thing just a different life and I'm happy to have grown up there with so many of you.

It doesn't seem like it's been "20" years, time flies when your having fun!! Look forward to seeing everyone and catching up.

Missy Avila

Ok...So this is me...ummm almost 20 years later! Glad I haven't aged!

Where to begin...After leaving what I'll forever consider "home", Duchesne, the day after graduation, we headed to the Grand Canyon...Which is where I met and married my husband, who was a mule wrangler/bull fighter at the time. We've been married just over 18 years...We have two boys, Tyler, 17, and leaving for the Marine Corps. in early January...He graduated early and is ready to live his dream...Zach, 16, is an avid bull rider and competes in several circuts. Currently he is in second place for Nevada State High School Rodeo, and 1st in the nation for the Little Britches Association. My hubby, continues to fight bulls, however does it now as more of a "hobby", he is a carpenter full time. I began teaching the 5th grade four years ago. Imagine that...I'm actually a teacher...and I tell you, what they say about paybacks are true...but given the little #@!$ I was, I know most of their tricks! Haha!

We have lived in Henderson for the last 16 years...Just a mile away from Mom and Dad...Never straying too far from the family. My brothers are scattered about...Jeff is here in Henderson, John is in Ogden, and Peanut (Stan) is in Flagstaff.

Life in the big city in no way compares to life back "home". I miss all the "memorable" times, and all of those times we just can't talk about out loud...hmmmm...But most of all, I miss being in touch with those who forever made an impact on my life! I'm so glad that we have this opportunity to get back in touch and get to know each other again... Thanks, Travis for taking the initiave to do this!

Email me! I would love to catch up with any and all of you! I can't wait for the reunion! I'm so there!

Michelle Summers

Mike and I have lived in Pocatello for ten years. Our oldest daughter Kate is fourteen and in the eighth grade, Steven is eleven and in sixth grade, and Rachel is eight years old, and in second grade. My parents moved up to Pocatello last year, so I haven't been to Duchesne for awhile. This is great to hear how everyone is doing and where they are!

Becky's Update

Hi everyone! Here is my update. After graduation, I moved to Provo in June and started college at BYU. My plan was to go there for a year and transfer some place else. I ended up staying there for four years. I graduated from BYU in 1992 with a B.S. degree in Travel and Tourism. I met my husband, Kelly Dastrup from Roosevelt, in 1989 through a friend of his that I was on a dating. We were unimpressed with each other. About a year and a half later, Kelly and I both moved back to the Basin to work for the summer and ran into each other. Kelly asked me out and we had our first date on June 11, 1991. We were engaged by July 24, and married on September 12, 1991. (Yes, it was that fast!)

We moved to Roosevelt in 1992. During that time in Roosevelt, we had our three children (Braden 12, Stacia 10, and Bryson 5). We bought a business "Buchanan Feed" in 1995 and ran it until 2002 when we shut the doors and tore the place down.

After we had Bryson, we moved to Idaho for about six months. Things there didn't go according to our plans, so we moved to Vernal. We have been here for the past four years. We have built two houses here in Vernal and have moved four times since we got here. We have been in our current house for about 14 months, but plan to build again in a couple of years. I have learned a lot about framing houses and doing finish work.

Life is good. I am really excited about reconnecting with everyone and look forward to seeing you all at the 20 year reunion next summer.
